In my many years of working in education, administration, and performing arts, I have rarely encountered such a natural gift of organization, and exemplary work ethic fused with the brilliancy of artistic delivery. Torya Beard is always willing to offer her assistance and has an excellent rapport with numerous constituents and stakeholders, clients, and other professional organizations linked to the community at-large. As Dance Captain of The Lion King and as an educator, Torya’s sense of integrity is inspiring. She has always maintained a refreshing appetite for knowledge and personal application. Her manner is easy going and introspective, but she is a taskmaster and exacts the highest standards from everyone she works with. It is important to know that she works well with artists at different stages of their creative processes and with students of every age.
